U.S. Electricar

The Electricar is powered with the low maintenance GM Hughes Electronics Dolphin AC Drive System, engineered to provide ample power for light duty utility applications in addition to day-to-day fleet operations. Long-life HawkerTM batteries mounted conveniently beneath the cargo area leave plenty of room for the 88.6 inch double-steel-walled- construction, galvanized reinforced bed. The GoodyearTM Invicta GL tires provide maximum efficiency and low rolling resistance. .

When not accelerating, the regenerative braking system engages to return energy normally lost during braking back into the batteries, increasing your travel distance per charge.

Charging is easy and can be done anywhere with our standard 110/220 volt on-board charger. If you want to save time, use the optional 440 volt off-board charger. Gas stops are a thing of the past. Just plug in overnight when rates are lower and your pickup is fully charged for the next day.

This vehicle provides increased passenger space with ergonomically designed cab appointments, including easy-to-read instrumentation, fully adjustable seats with Scotchgard™ protection for easy cleanup, lumbar supports, three-point shoulder harness and tinted glass for a cooler interior.
